Location: This is the “new” beach in Altea.
Facilities: Toilets, changing rooms and lifeguards. Promenade with shops, restaurants & bars.
Location: Playa la Roda is the main beach of Altea at 500 metres long. It is located at the bottom of the old town and starts at the port.
Type of Beach: Playa La Roda is a mixture of sand and pebbles. It is not ideal for children as it drops quickly into the sea
Facilities: Sunbeds and parasols for rental during the summer season. Promenade along the beach with restaurants, cafes & bars.

Location: Playa de Cap Blanc is located south of Altea, and connects direcly with Playa del Albir. It offers beautiful views of the Serra Gelada and the port of Altea.
Type of Beach: Golden sand with areas of pebbles and gravel. Watersports available including sailing, windsurfing and kayaking.
Facilities: Red Cross Station, Parking, Foot Showers, Chiringuitos, minigolf, restaurants and bars.
Location: Playa del Albir is located 4 kilometers from Altea old town.
Type of Beach: Playa del Albir is a pebble beach with clear blue waters & wonderful views of the Sierra Helada Natural Park.
Facilities: Choice of restaurants and cafes along the beach promenade
Type of Beach: Cove with black pebbles / Volcanic rock. Perfect for snorkelling.
Facilities: Red Cross station, restaurant, parking, foot showers.
Location: Cap Negret beach north of Altea, next to La Olla beach and Mascarat beach. It is approx 2 kilometers long, 50 metres wide, with clear waters.
Type of Beach: Wide pebble beach. Windsurfing is available.
Facilities: Red Cross station, walkways, toilets, parking, foot showers, restaurant. Food and drink stands are available on the beach.
